Deschutes Soil and Water Conservation District is proud to continue offering irrigation water management (IWM) workshops annually to provide education and technical assistance to residents of the district looking to increase irrigation efficiency. In an exciting partnership with School of Ranch and High Desert Food and Farm alliance, our IWM workshop will take place on August 15th, 2023, at 5:30pm at Tumalo Alpen Ranch. Attendees will learn how to calibrate and program pivot sprinklers systems, troubleshoot and maintain pivots and build irrigation water management skills. It is the hope of the district that this event will provide hands-on learning opportunity that will benefit both current pivot users, and those interested in switching to more efficient irrigation methods.
