Job Description: The Agricultural Irrigation Specialist is a full-time position with Deschutes Soil and Water Conservation District (DSWCD), responsible for planning, designing, and improving irrigation systems to optimize water use on private lands. This role combines fieldwork, technical expertise, and data analysis to help producers increase efficiency and implement sustainable irrigation practices.

Serving as both a technical advisor and liaison, the Specialist supports irrigators in Deschutes and Jefferson Counties through education, site visits, and conservation planning. Based in a multi-agency office, the position requires collaboration with partners and reports to the DSWCD Program Manager under the direction of the Board of Directors.
